360° Feedback – Feedback on your behavior to improve your leadership skills

Performance reviews – if they take place at all – do not provide inspiration to improve skills. Often they are cloudy and biased. In many standard performance appraisals people tick boxes twice a year with a limited effect on leadership skills & development. However, good leadership relies on constructive feedback.

At C&E, we use 360º Feedback based on both, a self-rating and a rating by the main people you are working with (peers, subordinates, supervisor, ExCom or even the BoD). The feedback is based on a short & simple questionnaire and open questions or a short interview with the respective participants. Typically, the number of the participants should not be more than 5-10 people in order to simplify the process. Depending on the individual and company policy the process can be done in an anonymous or open 360º feedback round. The result is an immediate feedback which gives you a more accurate and complete picture of yourself and where you stand. The feedback can be used to identify areas for of improvement and actions items.

The 360º Feedback is most frequently used during Executive Coaching, but is also a tool for Team Coaching and Team / Leadership Trainings.
